Fundraising Opportunity for Town of Yucca Valley Volunteer Groups

The Town of Yucca Valley is seeking volunteer groups to conduct litter removal and clean up of adopted street sections. The Town's clean street program has grown to six sponsors and the Town is looking for youth or non profit groups to conduct litter removal as a fund raising activity. Groups are required to clean their assigned street at least once per quarter and are rewarded for their efforts with $250 each quarter.

The Town's Clean-Street program, established Earth Day 2005, replaces the buck-a-bag contests to provide more opportunity for youth and civic groups to serve the community. For more information, call (760) 369-7207.
