Fundraising Through Recycling
Two local schools are participating in the County's Beverage Container Recycling Program in the unincorporated area of Big Bear City. With the proceeds they collected these donations were made.
- Baldwin Lane Elementary School donated to "Tsunami Relief Aid."
- North Shore Elementary School voted the community swimming pool as their project. The pool was damaged in the 1992 earthquake.
